(Of course that still means more work - and some of it - the sanding and re-finishing - is not my idea of fun!) But it will be wonderful to have this loom in my life!

Hilary - good to meet another Toika owner! Mine is 59" weaving width with an underslung beater. I'm in NH. I guess I really should put something a little less generic in my profile!!

Happy weaving to all of you!!

SueLife Looms Largehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05522897791564181980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3635600553883200682.post-39821461063117102182009-02-05T08:32:00.000-05:002009-02-05T08:32:00.000-05:00Just read your comment on my blog, and so I clicke...Just read your comment on my blog, and so I clicked on your name, and found yours. I LOVE your weaving space, WOW, the light is amazing. Your loom looks like my big Toika, which I don't think they make any more...it is 84" wide, underslung beater....and you sounded like you might be close to me.....new england?? Always love to have weavers nearby! I am going to put you on my blog list so I can visit again.
www.crazyasaloom.com
www.crazyasaloom.blogspot.comHilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02528439226293446420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3635600553883200682.post-39806369216611521862009-02-04T23:01:00.000-05:002009-02-04T23:01:00.000-05:00Wow, what a thorough cleaning. The texsolv heddles slide much more smoothly on them now. Not sure what to do about a really big splinter however.Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02435811789823712254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3635600553883200682.post-5644917182405003152009-02-04T20:39:00.000-05:002009-02-04T20:39:00.000-05:00You will have a blast once you get your lovely loo...You will have a blast once you get your lovely loom all together!Theresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09574936988046982209noreply@blogger.com
