Sometimes in winter it doesn't take much to make me smile.
I love walking past our newly organized mittens and gloves.
Last year, our gloves were stored in two bins. I had to rummage around forever when I wanted a particular pair.
After some googling around, I found the Chain Gang Toy Organizer ($13 or so on Amazon). We got the primary colored hooks, but they sell all white or pastel too.
Immediately after hanging ours up, we started wondering what else we could organize this way.
Do you have any ideas?? The chain can hang vertically too. I keep thinking there's some genius way to use this in my studio.....

This is real good !I will pass it on.
We used to have one of those for my husband's ball caps (he only had a cazillion of them!) It kept them off table tops and the floor! The kids also used them for their stuffed toys. It was easy to find the one they wanted to sleep with, and it kept them off the floor.
Very clever! Wish I had had one when the kids were younger and we lived in Ny-it would have hung perfectly over our old cast iron radiator!
scarves, ties, a bunch of nice weaving samples/gauge swatches that might be inspiring, magazine/catalog pages for inspiration, skeins of lace and/or sock yarn in pretty colors ... oh the possibilities
Geez, wonder if it would hold 8 rotten little dogs? I've often just wanted to velcro them to wall when they obnoxious. ;)
Photos, cards, weaving samples, clip some pretty yarn on there for inspiration.
Great for mittens and gloves though. We are digging like you last year....
mittens are cute...but also: Skeins of yarn, pairs of socks, Circular knitting needles (organized by size).
That's adorable! It's also a lot of mittens. Have you seen my purple fleece ones? They've been missing for a few weeks. If they show up, let me know!
