This morning I awoke to the first snowfall of the winter.
I snapped a few pictures looking out the windows.
The garden is covered with about 4 inches of snow.
Happy Winter!

Awesome pictures! It really is amazing to think we were cutting our Christmas tree just a couple days ago while it felt like Spring - and today my son was outside sledding down our little hill! The first snows of the year are beautiful - but soon I'll be ordering veggie seeds and counting down the days til I can get outside and plant!! :)Colleen
And here I thought that *I* lived in Paradise. Beautiful and awesome. No bad weather here but really, really huge waves! Does that count? We are scheduled for our winter weather this week, big rains! We need it!
Oh, how lovely! I love snow pictures. It's something we never ever get where I live, although I'm ecstatic that we're getting rain today. (We get way too little of that, too!)
Beautiful pictures, Sue! We had our first snow a few days ago, snuggled up by the wood stove and enjoyed the serene beauty of it all. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings...
I'm still quite surprised that we got so much snow after warm temperatures just before it started. And I'm surprised that it's still here and still coating the trees tonight.
I'm always amazed by how much Californians appreciate and enjoy rain. I wonder how many years living there that would take me!
Thank you all for visiting and commenting! I really appreciate it!!

Beautiful! Here in Georgia we had snow in the air yesterday morning...but nothing stuck, of course. Thanks for sharing your views of 'real' snow!
2 inches here. Son has my camera so haven't taken photos yet! Evelyn
There is no denying the beauty of freshly fallen snow. (Just glad I miss the experience first hand!)
We were forecasted to get snow yesterday but it missed us. It sure did get cold and frozen last night however. Your snow sure is pretty.

It's even prettier because I don't have to drive to work in it tomorrow! Yeah!!
Lovely pictures! Now quick, send some of it back to us! We missed the predicted snow and I am actually quite disappointed. I bet Bailey enjoyed it.
Nothing more beautiful than fresh snow!!!
Enjoyed the pics.

Beautiful! Looks a bit like there, if it wasn't for the sunshine.
Nice snow pictures. No snow here so far....Hope it come to Christmas.
Have a nice day!
