This branch of bright red maple leaves outside the kitchen window surprised me as I washed dishes this morning.
Fall is beautiful here. It won't really be showing its colors until October.
Our front yard is still very green.
But fall is creeping in. My beautiful blue hydrangea is changing colors.
Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.

You're teasing me with that lovely red maple you know! Great quote and so true.
Looks like the glimpses of a beautiful Fall to come!
Oh - I've never been to New England in the fall - I'm excited to see it through your blog!!!
The maple leaves are beautiful!
I've noticed our leaves have been turning and falling here too. Where did summer go?
Today I did part of my run on trails through the woods. Even though most leaves are still quite green, there were scattered yellow leaves on the trail.
Fall here is gorgeous...so hopefully I'll be able to get a few good pictures of it. Nature certainly gives me a lot to work with at this time of year!
Thanks, as always, for your comments!! I really appreciate them!

We have leaves starting to fall on our deck, crunching when we step on them. Fall is definitely on its way!!
