My scarf is out in the yard, celebrating the start of a new year!
It looks better close up, right?
Don't worry - the scarf isn't standing on its own due to extreme cold or a too-stiff hand.
There were a lot of pictures like this in our photo shoot (on a day with below 0 wind chill.)
Bailey thought throwing a scarf in the air was the best game ever, and he'd attack when it reached the ground.
But there were a few cool photos like this....
Happy New Year!!!
My just-finished scarf will debut tonight at a New Year's Eve party. I cannot wait to wear it!!
Wishing you all the best in the New Year!!! Thanks for visiting my blog and making 2009 much more fun for me!

And thank you for having such a dang fun blog to visit! The scarf looks beautiful, love the floating to the ground shots. Tell Bailey I'm not sure those are his colors, maybe greens and teals and he can have his own scarf to look dashing in?
Hope you get some shots of the scarf being worn as it was meant to be, looking lovely while keeping you warm.
HNY!
There will definitely be a scarf wrapup post that has pictures of this scarf, and the set of 3 scarves. I've promised yarn details to another reader. And general project bragging is always fun too!
I was inspired today by your dog photos of those cozy dog beds. We happened to be in the LL Bean outlet looking for pants...and they had a great price on their usually very expensive dog beds. So far Bailey loves his new bed - so thanks for inspiring us with your photos!
Bailey would look good in forest green....but I'm thinking a new collar rather than a scarf! (And NOT woven by me, thanks!!)
HNY to you too!
Sue
I love these shots! I am going to smile all evening remembering it! Have a great time at your party-you will be a hit with such a pretty accessory! (No moon tonight-grrrrrrr-just clouds but I am going to look later!)
Neat shots!
Happy New Year!
Lol, I DID think that the first photo was of an artistically-frozen scarf! Anyway, it's beautiful.
Happy New Year!
What great photos! It really shows that a well woven scarf is a lovely three dimensional object, cudos;). I know that I will take a page from your book and try to make my project photos much more intersting...
Fun photos! Snow always looks interesting, given I have only very slight experience of it (t-shirt weather here, overcast and humid).
Best wishes for a great 2010.

Lovely fun pictures.
Happy New 2010
Very impressing, nice fotos! And thanks for all your interesting writings!
Those pictures are really very cool! The first one looks like a kind of strange and exotic bird sitting in the snow. Happy new year!
wonderful sculpture! I love when clothes freeze on the line. Evelyn
Great pictures - must have been so much fun taking them!!
What a great idea! I love those up-in-the-air shots of your beautiful scarf! How fun!!
I think someone I know owns a DSLR~ Aren't they fun?!!
What fun! Great shots. Looks like a good time was had by all.
