Dog Days of March

It was an unusually warm day for March yesterday, reaching 58° F (14° C).

Jim had the great idea to take a walk that would not involve walking on snow.

We decided that Hampton Beach would be a great place to visit, so we jumped in the car.

Bailey made a new friend.

We saw these mysterious tracks in the sand, and speculated wildly on what was making them.

Oh, metal detectors....not on our list of guesses!!

We looked for birds (YES) and seals (No) in Hampton Harbor.

Surfer, horseback rider and runner enjoying the day

A nice little break from winter. Snow resumes tomorrow supposedly.

What beautiful pictures! The beach and the sand remind me by the way of the Danish island Bornholm.

Spring has left these parts....so hopefully it's heading toward KDes!!

I'm really glad we had a weekend where we could enjoy the spring-like weather.....because winter returned today!

Wow - so gorgeous. We couldn't live in more disparate settings. I've lived here so long, I don't think I'd know how to live somewhere wet and wonderful.
