I've Got Rhythm

Over at Digital Photo School, the assignment this week is rhythm.

Even though tree branches, fence posts and rock walls immediately sprung to mind, I took pictures inside due to weather.

Last week I was all excited that the balance assignment helped me learn about textile design.

No big revelations for me with rhythm. At least not yet.

I thought about heading to the beach with my camera to get photos for this assignment, but opted to stick close to home.

If I don't like the cold, why do I love icicles so much??

Rhythm and textiles: Think stripes of varying sizes (ie. fibonacci series), assymetrical plaids, undulating twills, advancing twill threadings, complex overshot.....

The list could go on and on....

You've got rhythm, you certainly do! I love the weave pattern -- it's one on my list to try!
