Slightest Hint of Spring

Our first flower!!!

The garden has a good 6 inches (15 cm) of snow on it still....

But this crocus is a promising sign!

Thanks for sharing that most welcome first sign of spring!

My parents, in southern WI, saw a flock of geese go over the other day. Spring IS coming, though it will probably be another month here (Northwoods of WI). !

Our spring birds are starting to return also.

I'm comforted to know that NH isn't the only place that waits a long time for spring!

Yay! Spring flowers! Can hardly wait until the daffodils get going up here.

I love yellow spring flowers. Ours are just peaking though but we do have a lot of robbins.

So lovely! Spring like this is at least two months away in Northern Norway, and crocuses usally appear at the end of May... But we have spring signs all the same: grouses making mating calls in the early morning and the magpie flying around with branches in its beak.

So interesting to hear about the different signs of spring in different parts of the world!

I was secretly hoping that all the snow here would melt by the end of today, as it's been rather warm, but that was quite unrealistic. We still have 6-8 inches on the ground easily.

But spring is coming!
