During the winter, I had several "Why do I live here?" moments.
On days like today, it's easy to remember why!!
Jack-in-the-pulpit
Latin: Arisaema Triphyllum
Abenaki: DKINOGANIZ "Little Cradle Board" or JIJIZ "Baby in Cradle Board"
Algonquin: Tuckahoe "Root that's Good to Eat"
Happy weekend everyone!!

Oh how pretty. Our wild dogwoods are not out yet, but they are getting ready. No Jack in the Pulpits but we have very lovely wild trilliums.
Enjoy your weekend too!
Your pictures are so pretty! We don't have any Jack in the Pulpits at least not where we live. Are they wild?
Hope you're enjoy your weekend too,
Barb
