Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier is our favorite!!
View of the pier from the street
After a short wait, we ended up sitting at the red picnic tables in this picture - two couples, two dogs, how many lobsters?
Bailey and his best friend Hobbes are popular with people of all ages at the restaurant. They even get served a water bowl before we get any food!
I almost forgot to take a picture of lobster before it was devoured!
To round out the day, we stopped by Annabelle's for ice cream in Portsmouth, NH where we ate with great views of the tugboats!
Definitely a great day for dogs and humans alike!

Simply YUM!
Ever since your lobster delay earlier in the year, every time I see lobster I automatically think "I should take a picture for Theresa!"

OK. The sign says, "Lobsters - Raw Bar" (??????????????????????????)
I've never had lobster before but it looks like a real treat.
I heartily endorse lobster....the raw bar....not so much! I'm not a fan!
Basically, oysters and cherrystone clams are sometimes eaten raw. Chauncey Creek has a raw bar where you can order such delicacies.
I like my seafood cooked though!

LOL, well every time I see those lobsters my mouth waters! I appreciate the pictures since that's about all I'll get until next years trip. Oh poor me. I will say the waiting means I really savor my annual lobster frenzy.
Oh Leigh, have a lobster, it's worth it.
I'm with all of you on raw bars...kind of yucky..
oh, it looks delicious and the setting is perfect!
What a storybook vacation I am enjoying with you, let's never stop. More lobster and tugboats and water and eating and dogs and EVERYTHING!
I used to do the oysters on the half shell but not so much anymore, cook mine too please!
This looks simply great! I have never tasted lobster, but they look delicious, and the the restaurant boat is so lovely!
I've never had a dog to eat fish - that's great! I love places that are dog friendly!
Chauncy Creek is one of my all time favourite places. Glad you enjoyed it.
Glad I could share lobster with you all long distance!! (And with Bailey at short distance!)
Janet, it's amazing that you know about Chauncey Creek - it took me years in New England to find it!
