For the past few weeks, I've been looking out the window at the globe thistle plant thinking "I should do a blog post about our flowers so I can remember them after the garden has faded." Lucky me....the grasshopper was sitting there for a long time once I grabbed the camera.
Our hydrangeas start white and turn a pretty blue as they fully bloom. I've read that it has to do with soil chemicals....and that people actually do things to change the colors of their hydrangeas. I'm just happy that mine bloom!!!

Is that a blue hydrangea????? I LOVE it.
Wonderful, I love the little grasshopper! The colors are amazing; you make me want to garden and I am not a gardener!
Beautiful!! I had planned to take garden photos yesterday, but the day got away from me. Must have been the sunshine - it was so wonderful to see!!
So nice to see all the great stuff that grows back there in the east. Looks like a lovely garden.
What great photos!!!
Love the colors you have highlighted......the hydrangeas especially!

Beautiful!!!! Love the grasshopper on your globe thistle.
Your garden is lovely. I especially like the hydrangeas. Ours bloomed so long ago that I've nearly forgotten about them.
