Fall Today: Rose with lilacs

Climbing rose with Dwarf Korean Lilac foliage in the background

Cloudy and gray today, with a threat of rain.

I had fun on my run yesterday scoping out different beautiful bits of autumn in my neighborhood to share with you.

That's it, I need you to fly out here and tell what to put where around here. You always have something beautiful to focus on, we have a wasteland around our house. Next year I swear, landscape landscape landscape. I suppose I should start easing Gene into THAT brainchild now. ;-)

Theresa, Yeah - the landscaping idea is a good one to work on over the winter. We took a class at the local high school in landscape design for 6 or 8 weeks when we were building our house. At the end of the class, we had a plan and lots of plant ideas....so even though I'm not always good about maintaining our landscape, the class really helped get it set up in a way we like.

B & D - Glad you liked the picture!!
