Solar Powered

I'm solar-powered. With the record lack of sun in the past two months, I feel like my battery has run down.

Today I turned to yarn to snap out of that funk.

I'm knitting a lobster to take to the beach. Maybe by the time it's done we'll have beach weather!!

I've never knit a stuffed toy, but so far it's very fun.

Nice little rows and lots of adding and dropping stitches. Never boring!!

I really want to see your lobster!!!
Sounds like fun. I have to get my knitting out. I knit like gang busters for 9 months out of the year, then I take a break....but I think the break is over!

I've knit a toy either. I love this lobster. Might have to try it myself.

Just read my comment and looks like I forget a word.

I've NEVER knit a toy either.

So far I'm really having fun with the lobster....it's coming out much taller than I pictured it. I've done the head and the body (which is just a sphere in the middle) and am starting the tail!

It's still raining a lot. Good lobster-knitting weather I guess! Hope our weekend cook-outs don't get drowned out!!

Sue,
It's good lobster eating weather too! :-)
Glad your little red cutie is coming out well. We'll all be waiting for pics.

Knitting a toy is lots of fun! I knitted a toy alpaca once and then fulled it. I should get the pattern out and make some more.
