Wishing on a Star

Star Island, that is.

7 miles out to sea from Portsmouth Harbor, New Hampshire.

Through the turnstile to the undeveloped side of the island.

We almost stepped on this gull with her chicks.

Baby gulls grow quickly!

A world away.

What could be better than knitting on this great front porch?

Even on our day trip to the island, we felt ourselves slip into an island frame of mind.

Heavenly Sue, I don't know how you managed to leave at the end of the day.

OH my, I could live there just as it is. Who needs the fancy modern day comforts when you have a view like that!

I have to admit that I love looking at these pictures....and I'll love them even more during the winter when it doesn't look like that around here!!!

I am living vicariously through your blog. I love the photos and the descriptions; peaceful and uncluttered.
Thanks for letting me tag along, I look forward to these little day trips to places I may never get to see myself.
